Obesity and Capsicum

Obesity is a common problem faced by many of us due to the modern way of living. Lack of physical exercise and continuous sitting in front of the TV adds to the problem. Recent studies have shown that the person who keeps away from the TV is able to burn more calories than the person who is spending more time watching the TV.

A small research trial has found that the if you are able to reduce the time of watching the TV to an extent of 50 % when compared to others who watch it for five hours, this is equivalent to walking a mile per day.

For the weight loss, the recent study and research shows that the inclusion of chilly and capsicum helps the body to develop heat. This ultimately helps the person to burn more calories. However, excess consumption also results in the irritation of the bowels. Red chilly and capsicum are found to be very effective in burning the calories in the human body.

In spite of all these cautions, people tend to avoid physical exercise which greatly helps them to burn the calories and avoid heart related problems due to excess weight and fat. It is advisable that the food habits of the person is given the due care to avoid accumulation of excess fat in the body which needs to be reduced by the methods enumerated above.
